Nice find. That's a good question about what modes are online or not.

Stand and Bang Mode I know people want that to work online. But We'll see. Fight now custom I wonder if we can have Equalized stats as a setting in that mode.

In EA SPORTS UFC 3, there is a whole new suite of multiplayer game modes for you to play in. Grab some friends and compete head-to-head in a variety of fun multiplayer game modes.

*We'll be unveiling them all throughout this week, so be sure to check back for a new multiplayer mode each day!
They were supposed to be unveiling a new mode each day but it seems something went wrong lol

If the betas setup is anything to go off, what we know is.

Offline:
Fight Now/ Fight Now Custom
KO mode
Stand and bang mode (believed to be KO mode without arcade health)
Grappling matches called Submission Showdowns.
Career.

Online:
UT
Ranked & Unranked.
Live Events/LEC

Unknown (likely offline):
Tournament Mode/Tournament Mode Custom
Event Mode.


Think that's it/somewhat accurate.

I'm not expecting any of those modes to be online at this point. In hindsight EA MMA was very groundbreaking with their fight cards.

Now it's pretty much 2018 and EA thinks we can summon a group of friends to our couch whenever we can to play a few matches.

I hope I am wrong but I doubt it.

Live events?
Are there any changes to live events and pickem n play with the rewards and such?

Tournaments?
Whats the max amount of fighters in a tournament 32? 16? 8? 4?
Is there mixed weight classes in these?
Can you just do Cpu vs CPU tournaments?

Any changes to event mode?

Yeah, because let's be frank here, if the other modes were to also be online, it would seriously impact the online community by seperating it way too much across the multiples modes.

Tournament or event would be the ideal online modes.

I really really hope that tournament mode available online with only PSN friends and observer function. It would be awesome.

Yeah, because let's be frank here, if the other modes were to also be online, it would seriously impact the online community by seperating it way too much across the multiples modes.

Tournament or event would be the ideal online modes.

I imagine Tournament or event would be very novel if online and not played by many, especially event, where you'd have to wait and watch (which would be cool I admit) up to seven fights before you have yours, some players won't mind, myself included, but your average player probably won't wanna wait 15-45 minutes between fights (or whatever that'd be if accel clock)

That said, the option to play them online would be cool.
