Possible? Actual draft class with roster update (Post 1/16/18)?

I’m curious if Madden would try to pull this off once all players have declared. I’m not sure at which point they would have access to these players prior to signing with a club as they no longer have college eligibility to worry about.

It would definately make great use of the Weekly updates with actual stats and playability into the next year. They have talked about going away from yearly releases...

Not possible. The players wont be under the NFLPA until they sign, mostly well after the draft. By that time, they'll have ceased support for M18.

I’m not so certain. The agreement between Madden and the NFLPA goes beyond “signed players” hence, we see the inclusion of a few rookie free agents each year who never signed with an NFL team.

The last couple of years they have added new rookies to Ultimate Team (after the draft) even though the technically had not signed contracts.

There could be the case that once the players declare for the draft they are under the league umbrella.

I’m not privy to any of the legal stuff but it is an intriguing concept.

It would likely hurt their sales next year so I don’t see a reason why EA would do this.

Yeah at the very least, that would give me the incentive to start a new cfm with the old version and wait until the new game drops and see how everyone says it plays before I buy it. It definitely would have kept me from buying 18

So youre saying that a big reason many people pay $60 for Madden every year is for....dare I say it....a roster update? :y220a:
