Player birthdays/age way off in some cases
 

The birthday of nearly every rookie and even some veterans are way off. I'm not talking days or months, but 5-10 YEARS in some cases. What gives? This has annoyed me so much in my franchise that I am considering restarting my franchise in Madden instead. The other thing is that I don't see anywhere to correct the DOBs. Anyone else noticed/pissed off at this? Seemingly the only way to fix this would be to delete and recreate every rookie in the game and many of the veterans as well. Not only would you lose past season statistics if you did this but also you would lose player pictures, not to mention HOURS of time. Ummm...what do I do? I really don't want to deal with with players retiring anywhere from 5-10 years early in my franchise. I prefer ESPN in nearly every category to Madden (except some of the Franchise mode features) and would like to continue playing it but man...this sure is bugging me.

I posted this just a second ago but it gave me some kind of error, so here goes again. Anyway, Shannen Sharpes b-day is listed in the 1980s. I can't remember the exact year, but its in the 80's.

You can look at about any rookie and see that their birthday is off, but here are a few notably ones that just should not have been incorrect under any circumstances:

Eli Manning
Real DOB: Jan. 3, 1981
NFL 2k5 DOB: Dec. 27, 1979

Reggie Williams
Real DOB: May 17, 1983
NFL 2k5 DOB: July 11, 1981

Kenechi Udeze
Real DOB: March 5, 1983
NFL 2k5 DOB: October 19, 1979

Kellen Winslow
Real DOB: July 21, 1983
NFL 2k5 DOB: November 23, 1975

William Green (not a rookie)
Real DOB: December 17, 1979
NFL 2k5 DOB: November 30, 1970

Real DOB: June 26, 1968
NFL 2k5 DOB: March 3, 1981

The funny thing is, NFL 2k5 also says he's been in the league for 15 years. So if he were born in '81, that would mean he started his pro football carreer when he was eight years old. Wow, and I thought Larry Fitzgerald was young!

That's insane. Winslow would be 29 years old this November. That's ridiculous and could make some guys retire earlier than expected.

It's completely insane. Kind of ruins the franchise mode after more than 3-4 seasons, actually.

Hopefully this is fixed when there is a roster update.
