Is there any way to make it so you can choose your preferred trunks color?

In CAF mode mainly, although it would be awesome to do that with roster fighters as well. I'm just bummed I have to make my guy from Canada to get red trunks or Ireland to get green trunks. It seems like it would be an easy fix, but what do I know?

Color of trunks is based on Reebok shorts.


Brazil gets yellow, Russia gets red, America gets blue, etc.

I find that next to impossible to be the case. Reebok is so concerned that a fighter from the US has green trunks instead of blue that they've forced EA to not allow customization of color?

It literally isn't though. Fighters in the UFC get to pick their color. The red corner picks first and the blue corner picks a color next. Jeremy Stephens has green trunks in the game and he's from the US.

Have you literally never watched a UFC event in your ENTIRE life? Colors have always been restricted to Countries in the Reebok era. You would not see an American fighter wearing Red or Green because those colors are restricted to British/Canadian/Russian and Brazilian nationalities.

"The new range of color choices also depend on the country a fighter represents, a UFC official confirmed with MMA Fighting. Fighters competing out of the red corner get the first pick of colors. If two athletes are from the same country, the blue corner will get a choice of one of the remaining colors that the red-corner athlete did not take first."

So yes, the shorts are obviously based off of the countries initially, but there isn't a hard ban on a fighter from the US wearing yellow ****ing shorts. Jesus. Can anyone come to this board and not get accosted for one day?

Yes there is man. You would never see an American wearing yellow and you would never see a Brazilian wearing Red. Color choices differentiate nationalities.

I read it and it says its down to the country, they get two selections based on the country. Then theu have tue universal ones. The fighter can choose where they fight from or what nationality they want to represent, ie brock choosing canada.
It actually says the two part in the article.
