Best Madden For PS3?

Saw it on Xbox one, but I liked it even though I am mainly ncaa football fan. So, which Madden is best for ps3? Thanks.

I'd probably go with '12 as the best Madden of last generation; its franchise mode and gameplay hold up quite well. The rookie class from the 2011 season was also pretty phenomenal. One big downside is that servers are no longer functioning for that game. So, if you never downloaded roster updates for it, then you're stuck with the on-disc rosters that don't represent the flurry of moves made after the lockout ended that summer.

I enjoyed '10 a lot as well. The franchise mode is definitely inferior to '12, but it has a few presentation aspects that are better, namely the "Extra Point" halftime and wrap-up shows.

Not going to play online. I want an overall good game. Like NCAA 12 has the high jumping LBs. Hate that glitch. I want a Madden game without as many wrong things as others. A GameStop near me has a ton of Madden 13 copies. Like I said an all around good game.

'12 is definitely the best followed by '10.Yes the linebackers jump too high but I remember editing them down by 30 to take that problem away. That was the only version with full player editing.

for the best gameplay then it's 16 or 17 (same game 17 is just roster update)

if you care more about franchise stuff then 12.

On the 360, I loved all the customization available in 12, including the rabbit hole of the effects of the Priority sliders. You could really fine tune the game.
Gameplay is not bad on 15 as well.
Never played 16 or 17, I know they didn't get all the features as current gen, but does anyone know if the XP sliders made it into either 16/17?

10 is my favorite. 09 close second. 12 is good too.

Yeah, I recently picked up a copy of Madden 13 for $0.99 from Gamestop for my nephew. Didn't realize the servers had been shut down, and didn't think it would be so hard to find an updated roster. Don't have too many complaints from a casual gameplay aspect playing with him, though.

'12 is great for franchise. The gameplay is absolutely terrible. Most frustrating version I've ever played.

People always griped about the 'comeback code'.. 12 is worse. You'll be cruising along, and all of a sudden the game will decide its time you throw a pick. And some scrub, slow, practice squad ILB will morph into Derrick Brooks and wreck your game. And alot of the time, you didn't even make a bad throw. Its vintage, bag of crap game coding.

If you're willing to look past that, 12 is fine.

Franchise mode is great though. Lots of depth, solid long-term playability.

Its pretty antiquated at this point, but 10 would get my vote.

I certainly wouldn't call M12's gameplay realistic in regards to player motion, physics, etc., but I thought it was pretty fun and engaging in spite of that. I also thought All-Pro gave a pretty good challenge that year.

Madden 25 for me it has the best gameplay of any Madden to me, the graphics hold up and actually the player model look in some ways better. The Franchise is good (not great) the news gives it atmosphere. The player physics are great the Defensive ai is a perfect mix.
Madden 12 is very good too a lot Franchise features however it still feels like schedule play now. gameplay is only ok it needs a lot of slider to make it playable. The graphics hold.
13 is Garbage no franchise mode limited to no players editing explotion tackles

Ultimately though, I don't see how anyone can stand the chippy player movement throughout the ps3 maddens.
The players bodies are odd etc.
It's hard to like any Ps3
