I responded to the thread about how much $$ have you spent on Ultimate Team. I had spend 0 at that time because I didn't like how they changed it from UFC 2 (I really enjoyed creating myself and just updating his moves and playing). I probably spent more than an Xbox One costs on that mode in UFC 2. However I didn't touch it in UFC 3.

Anyways.... After replying to that thread I gave it a go again. While I still don't like the format change entirely. The way stamina and damage work in that mode feel 100% more realistic/better than when I play on ranked.

Made this thread to basically tell anyone who is only playing SP and Ranked to give Ultimate Team another shot. Especially if you like a more realistic experience. All the fighters on ranked seem to have endless cardio and can take waaaaay too much damage. The fights I've played on Ultimate Team feel so much more strategic, the pace is slower, everything is intentional, and overall I'm having a blast with it so far...

It's all fun and games until you face a 4* Whittaker who has the DJ back clinch armbar and submits you. That in itself gave me enough reason not to touch that mode again.

1 gate submissions have no place in a mode where the stats can be so grotesquely unbalanced, unless the fighter has the CCON to deny transitions in the clinch, the Wiz Bar is a 'Win Button'.

This game will have 2 more years in its life cycle and people are giving up already. 100 ovr badly tattooed CAF belong in unranked. Now if you want one you have to grind for it, I hope it keeps those types of players away.

There is much more parity in UT. When you compare the ranked and UT leader boards you'll see many more losses on the UT side. Styles make fights, and if you're a good player with the right style you can beat anyone. I've spent no money and have had plenty of competitive fights with the top 100. In UFC 2 you couldn't do that because it was an arms race to max everything. Now you can't do that, there's way more strategy involved for how you build your fighter and try to win.

The mode isn't without faults. We need to see exactly how chemistry works. We need something to do with the all these pointless bronze and silver fighters we aren't using. Solo challanges have been underwhelming and desperately need goal tracking during the fight. We need our fighter builds saved so we can swap faster.

My experience on UT in ufc3 isnt that. I used my perma gold on anderson silva and after like 3 fights i stopped playing because i felt like everyone was taking too much damage without going down

So you like these fake roster fighters and the 20 point gaps in stats lol your the only one i think.Have u noticed it takes like 10 min to get a fight unless ur div3 or something cause no one is playing this crap.

Can we really only create one (1) CAF in ultimate team this iteration? This seems like a bug or a mistake... I don't want a bunch of scrub fighters on my team... I want to actually make my own team.... Hope this gets patched...

I'd play it if I could have a team of my own CAFs and play against other people's CAFs.

The thing they did this year where you're supposed to be using real fighters but can equip any kind of moves and stat boosts on them is just...dumb. And then to really salt the wound, you have to hope you get CAF cards out of packs. And then hope that CAF is in the right weight class. And then hope that CAF is the right style of fighter. Garbage.

Haven't touched it, won't touch it. They ruined the mode.
