Question regarding CFM and up-to-date roster

So, I see that we are going through the whole off-season roster haul.

I was wondering what is the best way to approach the most up-to-date CFM play style?

I see that there are couple options.

1. Download a roster with rookies already placed in (post draft) with CAP.
Pro: You get to play with CAP rookies and realistic roster.
Con: Years in pro/Team Schedule/age difference may annoy users who wants the realistic game approach.

2. Editing the system produced Rookie to current in-life rookie pool.
Pro: No need to worry about age difference/yrs in pro differences/Team Schedule
Cons: Not as realistic as CAP and also it may be really really time consuming + I do not think we can change certain features like skin tone and etc.

3. Using a roster with rookie pool in the FA.
Pro: Less time consuming than option #2
Con: Assuming this will be available during the 2017-2018 season, meaning age/yr pro/schedule will be all conflicting.


I assume that we no longer can edit the draft class (after the patch long time ago).

What do you guys usually do to have the most realistic experience possible? Am I missing any other options?

I usually update the rosters myself which as u can see from my thread I am doing, years pro and age we can't change regardless of what approach we take same as schedule. Then once I feel my roster is ready I start a cfm controlling every team, then first fire and create the coaches that have been new hires to the league, Gruden and all. Last I use draftsite.com to trade the correct draft picks to teams so when the draft happens every team has their correct picks. Then I'm ready to begin my season.
