Any ideas what's going on here

    Answers on a postcard.

The sways and vulnerability post patch have seemed massively unreliable but this is insane. Literally ducked straight into my uppercut and fired back a hook.

Anyone else experienced this type of stuff?

Yeah, I keep watching it to figure out the timing but it's so choppy it's hard to know for sure.

But yeah I think the uppercut hit the strike, the low stamina reduced the stopping power, and the guy flying back is some other bug.

But I would love to try and reproduce this exactly to see if that's really what's happening.

The vulnerability on the way back up is nowhere near as high as on the way down, but I would have expected the stun frames to prevent the hook from coming out as quickly if it had hit the slip.

          Really hard to tell.

if we don't get a stamina tax on the head movement, the online crowd is going to decrease really fast. The cheese spammers REALLY seem to be taking over the game online now.Something has to be done with head movement asap

Vulnerability is in a weird state, I have no idea how you can leg kick someone into a health event yet they still would have enough on a strike to rock you with an overhand OR head kick. I've seen this happen a bit too often with the person who suffers the health event and clearly handing last by a few frames, yet still able to cause significant damage. Whoever was hit first should generally have their strike not only weakened but off target. It's really weird with head kicks vs head kicks and leg kicks vs head kicks.

No, that should only work for strikes AFTER you rock someone, not strikes thrown at the same time. I'm talking about leg kicking someone and they throw a head kick at about the same time but the leg kick hits just a few frames earlier and they even fall from it, yet their head kick still rocks you too. Realistically, that shouldn't happen since they are falling anyway, the accuracy should be so far off, whatever momentum they even could still have on the kick is gone anyway irl.

Somebody's strike should be cancelled out and whiffed, and the faster strike is generally the leg kick. It's going to get to point A to point B faster, this is one of the few things UFC 2 had right about striking aside from the wonky animations sometimes from making a fighter crumble when timing the leg kick during their head kick.

I'm not talking about getting rocked but it has nothing to do with that perk cuz it happens with anyone. It's the vulnerability system and frames if anything. Any fighter can do it with or without the perk. It wasn't an issue in UFC 2 b/c they generally didn't let the head kick complete it's full animation then.

Plus I'm talking about a leg kick health event triggering and causing the fighter to fall, not being in a rocked state. How does it make sense that someone's head kick still even connects to cause a health event when he's falling due to his leg giving out? The head kicker's kicking leg wouldn't be able to properly connect if he's falling.

Yeah but it’s ****ing epic when it happens because it looks like a Yair Rodriguez kick.

Those were two exchanges, I think. In the one where you got dropped, you didn't hit him in the duck. You hit him during his own punch, probably just after its 80%, so it didn't stop him and caught you with low stamina.
