How exactly does Conquest work?

Fairly new to DD, I play vs CPU to get challenges etc. but want to branch out into conquest too. I've looked but don't get it really. How do you conquer the board? and should I steal fans, and whats the best strategy to beat it? I won't be doing extreme, but normal seems like a fun grind

I recently learned this year that stealing fans just tskes to much time. The best method is to sim all the games you can for the free spaces. This will cause you to get the most reinforcements and be able to attack strong holds on a low difficulty. Once you get going you can play through multipule times with only haveing to play stronghold games.

okay, thx. maybe i'll read more in depth on the instructions too. I don't really get the mode at all. and im sure theres something on youtube too. thanks for the tip tho. appreciate it

Steal fans is really only good if a certain territory is just shredding you, or you have specific challenges for conquest

Yup. You want to attack and hold as many territories as possible.

For every 3 spaces you hold you get 1 new recruit to put on the board.

Only simulate games when they have a High chance of winning so you never have to play games until you get to the Stronghold of the other team.


It's a bit tedious but once you get the hang of it then it becomes quite easy.

thanks guys. been wanting to try it and win it. the rewards seem pretty sweet. I'm a casual DD player, won't play online a ton, just kinda like the idea of building a team up and grinding for fun
