I don't know what it is, but the LEC is FLAWLESS and so much different than ranked..

Only the stamina is better now, the rest is still people throwing combo block breaking garbage cheese spam. Really sick of losing to hard combo spammer.


Sway uppercut hook hook hook...is the most used cheese imo.

If you’re still losing to that in the LEC, that is 100% on you and your skill deficit. The fact is, that style is NOT effective in the LEC. Fighters have way less power, speed, and stamina.

If they’re constantly striking over and over, they should be gassed by the second if you’re doing your job right.

Think he's talking about the Live Event competition where everyone's stats are even level. Haven't had a chance to try it out been working the past few nights

I really do wish they gave us some more notice about it, I know a few ppl who didn't even realize there was a LEC until an hour before UFC 223 prelims started haha

Hoping they have one of these every PPV --- very fun and I'm sure it can't be too resource-intensive on EA's side to set one up (?)

Just throwing this out there, but actual gameplay wise I don't think there was any difference in LEC and ranked.

It was just stat changes, right?

Yup that's right, my understanding is there were no changes to overall gameplay. i.e. no changes to head movement or combos or stopping power, etc.

Only difference I know of between LEC and Ranked was that the LEC fighters had 90 stats for every stat category (from Accuracy to Sub Offense to Endurance).

Well, a couple other differences now that I think about it.

Each fighter started with 0 perks and you were able to pick your perks 'out of a basket' --- not every type of perk was available.

So JJ and Rose didn't have the exact perks they have in ranked. But each fighter did have five Level 2 perks.

I'm unsure if their move levels changed, maybe all the fighter moves were capped at level 2? Nnot sure if you can even see their moves in LEC, if so I missed it.

So really...pretty minor changes/differences, but in my opinion, LEC played much better than Ranked. The stamina alone makes people change the way they play (else gas halfway thru second round).

Less Cheeze, or at least, if they Cheeze, easier to punish ;)
