AO International Tennis

The worldwide release of AO Tennis (now called AO International Tennis) from Big Ant will be on May 8 for consoles and PC.

Looks to me like this game is going to be better than the much anticipated Tennis World Tour that is also releasing in May.

I beg to differ. I've been following the game since it was released as AO Tennis and it's a pile of hot garbage. Take a look at some of the reviews to get the picture...

Granted they've tried to patch the game but the game is so fundamentally broken that no amount of polishing the turd can fix it.

I would strongly recommend folks to wait and watch, and read the reviews before purchasing the game. The game's devs (Big Ant Studios) aren't known for their quality. They are small development shop whose modus operandi is to target a sports game without much competition - AFL, Lacrosse, Cricket, Tennis at the time as there isn't any game on PS4, release a broken game, try to fix it and leave it after 2-3 patches in a half-broken state.

Wait for 2-3 weeks post release and read the reviews as I've already burned my fingers with one of their products.

So, you think that the Tennis World Tour game is going to be a better option than AO International Tennis? Is that what you're saying?

No. What I'm saying is that we've already seen AO Tennis is shyte while there's a strong chance World Tennis Tour might be shyte. At least there's a possibility that World Tennis Tour will somehow miraculously be a decent game but no chance of AO Tennis being half decent.

As I mentioned in another thread, it's unfortunate that Full Ace Tennis Simulator is a PC game as that seems to be the best Tennis game out there.

All I'm hearing from both sides is that the other game is trash. Hopefully, one of them ends up being decent because I'd really like to get a new tennis game.
