    Returning after long hiatus

I played a few quick matches today after having not played the game since the day of the last patch/leaderboard/record reset. After playing with a fresh mind there are a couple of things that I thought I'd share:

    - Strike landing after the bell sounds off. This has been a part of the game since launch and hasn't been addressed.

    - Punching air after a knockdown. Now I understand there are various stages to knockdowns but when somebody falls to the ground in the fetal position the transition to follow up with ground strikes should be there. Instead I'm forced to stand there awkwardly jabbing the air at times.

    - Denying my opponent's transition to half guard while I'm on the bottom and automatically going for a reverse single leg to end up in their guard. Am I doing something wrong here? Because if I'm using Cub Swanson with Ortega in my guard, only to reverse his transition and end up in his guard, that's the very last place I want to be but the game forces me in this situation.

    - Moving hooks and lobbing punches at the air. This happens frequently where I throw a combination with moving hooks and my opponent just backs up as the camera pans out and I'm awkwardly throwing hooks at the air and draining my stamina. Not sure what's up here.

I understand there are more pressing issues right now which I may not be aware of but these are just the little things I thought I'd point out. Thank you for reading!

for some reason people are rimming the devs about how great it is that they do consistent patches

meanwhile, basic flaws with the games and bugs still haven't been fixed since BETA..

After the horn strikes landing is one of my pet peeves lmao

someone has said they don't count (in damage, or points)....but still, if those strikes can get thru after the horn, I should be able to keep my guard up at all times!

I also wish there was a way to 'cancel' a sweep/reversl you executed. Like you said, you'd rather break and stand with Cub, than get into Ortega's guard.

This should be a point in the game where you and the opponent try to move for position. i.e. you should be able to attempt to BREAK and stand-up (but Ortega can attempt to hold you in)

On the flipside, you can attempt to go for Dominant Side Control on Ortega ---- could easily be reveresed itself!, but if you have Ortega thinking you're going to try to break-free, but instead you press the attack, you'd be at an advantage.

Point is --- we need more 'contested' positions & scrambles for sure!

I haven't played the game for a couple weeks and am getting back into it tonite....should be interesting
