Madden 19 PC modding tools
 

Two notes on mods:

1. It won't be mod friendly, but they won't actively police mods: "While Madden developers have said they will not officially promote the modding of Madden ’19, they’re not going to police the community either, and are actually excited to see what can be done"

2. Look at the existing FIFA PC mod scene to see what is possible. Same engine (frostbite), been on PC for a while.

The career patch mod is incredibly promising. I know its a different game, but if they can get even some of those things into Madden it will be game changing.

It gives me hope that they can modify the way XP is handed out and the way that goals are assigned.

- Match sim is fixed and takes a team's overall into account more.

This is promising because I feel Madden's sim engine is a lot of crap that it just spits out random results. I've made playoffs with a team I'm planning on tanking with and missed with a super bowl team.

- Lowered the amount of goals from match sim a bit to keep it realistic.

Also promising that they may be able to adjust certain stats and such to give us more realistic results.

Just having a roster editor will be a huge plus.

NOTHING worse or more time consuming than in-game editing.

Hopefully the roster files are constructed as before, with coach, team and player data bundled together.

This was one of my favorite things last gen, and especially with NCAA. Even being able to mass edit equipment and body details of recruits in my dynasty saves was an awesome option to have.
