    My Last Ten Fights

    Here my last ten opponents:

    1. McGregor

    2. Holloway

    3. Holloway

    4. Holloway

    5. Holloway

    6. McGregor

    7. GSP

    8. McGregor

    9. Holloway

    10. McGregor

Come on man. Acknowledge that this needs to change along with the missed inputs. There is no excuse for this 3 games into the series.

I wish we could have stats seperate for online and offline. Id love for the majority of the roster to be competent for online play.

      Agree 100%.

I hate how the realism arguement is brought up when this topic is raised. Those same people don't care about the lack of realism in almost every other aspect.

9/10 fighters r strikers, wake up ea this is a k1 game. Ppl say grappling is all about stats but they never tried striking with khabib. The incredibly low hand speed stat makes a way bigger difference than stats do in clinch/ground. Duckin ga needs to be back asap and stats need to be made more fair on the feet. Khabibs the champion of the hardest div in the sport and still nobody uses him at high levels. It says a lot

Tbh it's no surprise. Early on in ranked I used some fighters like Paulo Costa, Thomas Almeida, Nick Diaz, Michael Johnson etc and although I was still winning a lot, I was taking some stupid losses to McGregor, Woodley, Holloway, etc. Then when I started using the best fighters i went like 50 and 9 or something in my last 60 matches and I had lost over 20 before that when using B rated fighters.

I figure OP is probably in a much higher online division than me, which would account for the lack of variety. My last ten hasn't been too bad as far as the type of fighters I'm seeing, but I never look forward to seeing Max Holloway and McGregor. Out of curiosity, do you not like fighting in any other divisions?

Double Confirmation would make the biggest difference.

Also, if thre is another installment, maybe the low end of the stats can be brought up a bit. High and low level fighters were already brought very close in comparison to UFC 2. If this trend were to continue, I think it would help with fighter variety in ranked, too.

But Double Confirmation (you could even just show the level of the fighter the opponent is picking, not the fighter itself) would be the main thing.

Oh! And increase the effect of using a fighter of a lower level. The bonus seems small and not worth the risk, currently.

Honestly the issue is the UFC having a say in ratings tbh

Mid tier guy’s strengths should be higher and high tier guy’s weaknesses should be lower

Right now they artificially raise some high tier guys and lower mid tier guys to create this inbalance.

                  It's not really that simple.

The UFC's feedback regarding the stats was actually very good. They didn't really push the lower level fighters down at all. They actually brought many of them up.

The big gap currently exists simply because the gap was much bigger, in UFC 2. It was about twice as big. This (insuficient) shrinking of the gap was more about how much we dared to suggest it to be shrunk in one go.

Now that we know that the UFC is cool with smaller gaps, if there is a UFC 4, I would love to suggest it to be shrunk further. Then maybe we will hit that sweet spot.

What’s stopping it from shrinking for this game?

Are rating updates difficult for the Dev team?

No sarcasm, genuine curiosity. I thought the addition of the tuner meant we’d be able to get things like rating updates more frequently.

When using the slower fighters it's more about timing. I've outstruck McGregors/Barbozas with Khabib, and on a more surprising note with BJ Penn. He can be just as deadly if used accordingly. I've used Kevin Lee to beat guys with much better Stand Up, despite his 87 Stand Up and meh accuracy. I would love for there to be more grappling animations, a struggle with TDs if somebody doesn't get the predeny rather than just the auto sprawl, in real collegiate wrestling it doesn't just stop with one shot, you have to reshoot, adjust, scramble, etc etc and I'll hope that UFC 4 can implement this.

I agree with this. I’m not gonna bs with you either, a lot of the time I’m using high rated guys too, like I often use GSP in title fights. What is it in this game though? Because it’s like low rated guys aren’t even viable. Like in UFC 2 my most used fighter was switching between Aleksei Oleynik and Mirsad Bektic. I was doing that in Division 8. There is no chance in hell I can do that now

This is so true. I like grappling and counter strikes. There is no place for either as the game currently plays.

I do not want to be forced to used the A+ fighters to stand a chance.

Good question. I like to play at WW. However, I ran into similar issues there
