Question For All Dynasty Coach Mode Players

Skill Tree for coaches or no skill tree? I've been zeroing out all of the Skill Tree for coaches except for recruiting because i didn't want the in-game boists to affect how i have pkayers rated. But, because i play Coach Mode and i also look at a lot of CPU-CPU dynasty games, should i allow the skill tree? Anybody with insight on how the Skill Tree affects coach mode games or cpu-cpu games?

I personally don’t use any skill tree restrictions.

I personally don't really use skill trees for myself, but I set progression to Slowest and don't restrict or make any changes to CPU coaches, except zeroing out the Recruiting tree for perennially bad teams and the service academy schools.

That’s interesting. If anything I might consider not distributing the points to coordinators. My dynasty started with my progression set to normal so that ship has sailed now.

I feel like as a CPU vs. CPU player you wouldn’t need or shouldn’t restrict the skill trees. I believe they are over powered when you are utilizing them along with your stick skills. Since you have no control of what happens on the field I think everything is good to go.

CPU vs CPU OR coach mode in my opinion. The CPU controlled teams get bonuses as well so it’s a wash

Progression when set to Slowest distributes you (and all the other CPU coaches) about 2 to 3 points a season, even if you're doing really well. Normal just gives out way too many points for my liking.

Understandable but I’m 6 seasons into my dynasty so I have to deal with it. Since it’s across the board at least it’s not giving either us or the CPU coaches an advantage. I’m playing NCAA11 at the moment though. Prefer the recruiting.

Question For All Dynasty Coach Mode Players

This discussion made me start a new dynasty as a 1-star, Level 1 HC (slow progression) with Georgia State. What a shock to be back to ground zero with no coach skills and only 5000 recruiting points. LOL
