Aggressive/Diving tackles seam a big off

Does anyone notice that when you go for an aggressive or diving tackle/sack your user controlled player is diving away from the opposing ball carrier regardless of what direction you are pointing in?

I actually just noticed this once, recently. It was in the skills trainer, actually. But, the purpose was to sack the qb. They auto lock u into being a DE. I got a good blockshed, ran towards the qb and decided to dive to get him quicker, and my player absolutely dove in the wrong direction!! It was like, he was running right at the qb, had him dead to rights, and then jumped back towards the line of scrimmage! Lol. So, I’ve only seen that once and it was specifically a dive button attempt. Not sure if hit stick or A button tackle would do that.

Same problem here. When playing on the camera from the defensive perspective, my user controlled player always tackles opposite of where i'm pointing

yup has happened twice to me when trying to sack the QB. both times he escaped obviously and threw a TD
