Fumbles

I have my fumbles slider on 3. I have about 3-4 fumbles per game. Not an exaggeration either. They aren't even good fumbles, it's not my QB getting hit on the throw, it's the AI either hit-sticking or stripping.


I'm trying it out on zero to see what happens now, this is really ridiculous.


Mark Ingram fumbles about 2 times per season, he's fumbling every other game so far. Alvin Kamara is even fumbling. At lot of it is hit sticks. If you get hit sticked on a special move it's almost always a fumble and the AI seems to always use hitsticks.


Anyone else having the same problems?

I'm not seeing too many fumbles but yes they do need to tone down the hit stick. The majority of my fumbles are me running with the QB and not getting out of bounds.

With all that being said, I'd like to see the CPU fumble a little more as it seems rare, even when I hit stick them.

Strangely, I haven't seen any fumbles running with my QB.

Most of mine have come off strips and hit-sticks. I think I remember this being an issue early on in 18 too.

The only fumbles I get off the CPU are usually strip-sacks, with the occasional punt-returner getting flattened.

What's your slider at?

I just had 2 in the first half against Washington.

Kamara got hit-sticked through an OL and fumbled and Ingram got stripped from behind on a sponge-tackle by a Da'Ron Payne(I think he was down though, we recovered it so there was no review).

I'm not sure.

You would think that 0 means no fumbles and 100 means lots of fumbles but it's Madden so I don't have a clue, man

I had my fumble slider on 20 for this reason and kept fumbling. I bumped it up to 80 and I'm seeing less.

I just wish each slider had a description on the right side that said "Move to the left for more and to the right for less" or whatever the accurate description is. Why do they make us guess? It's as frustrating as guessing which direction to pick to get the wind in overtime.

The lower it is the more fumbles you'll see. I play with it around 35-38 for me and the CPU on All Madden and am seeing realistic numbers right now. Haven't had a QB fumble outside of my first game, though.

Turn up the slider bro to decrease fumbles. The higher the number, the better they protect the ball.

Lol. I see others have answered you, but yes the fumble slider works differently than you inferred. Moving the number greater than 50 decreases the chance of the ball carrier fumbling during a carry.

I have fumbles set at 48 and in the game I played there was 2 fumbles..1 by me and the other by the cpu

Moving the fumble slider past 50 also reduces the special moves by CPU controlled RBs since they are more focused on protecting the ball. Slightly above you won't see much of a difference...but 55 and over you will see them take more of a straight line than jump around.
