Defensive Player Lock Camera

They took out the player lock camera that gives you the viewpoint from the defense? Playing as a SS in franchise, I can no longer play with the camera behind me this year. Why take this out?

I tried multiple times to push up as many times as possible and down as many times as possible on the d-pad. The "player lock" view is still from the offensive viewpoint. Tried clicking L3 and everything else. The view is in there because I can get it on punt return, but not on defense.

It's 100% in the game for defense. It's how I play defense. I just hit down on the dpad. Maybe hit down on the dpad, before actually hitting the lock on button?

I'm doing it in CFM, as the owner, fwiw. If you're using a single player, there could be a problem that I just don't know about.

I'm playing CFM as a player. I wonder if that's the reason. Well that would be lame if they took that view out in the mode where you play as a player. I've seen a few guys on twitter say the same, so I don't think it's just me. If that's true I may just have to play a regular franchise and just create my player and use him that way.

The minute you lock on to a defensive player from the defensive camera it changes back to the offensive camera while still locked onto the defensive player. There's another thread on this:

Yeah, that's really lame, if that's the case. The best use off that camera angle should be for a defensive single player.

You could create the guy, just do select the play defense before the game in the play the moment menu, and then lock and get the screen with him that way, to get the same effect.

You could create him in a draft class even, and then just take control of whatever team drafts him, to add that unknown.

Hopefully they can just patch that back in.
