What OVR did you guys reach last year? What is your goal for this year?

I finally hit OVR 97 this week and boy its been a grind, but won't have as much time this year to play and going to give NBA Live 19 a solid tryout this year. So having a couple 92's 93's this year would probably be the goal as I only had one character this year my Slashing Rebounder.

92 on my PG playmaking shot creator, created day 1.

Spent a lot of time messing around on 3 other characters. None of which got over 88.

I know it's impossibe for me to just have one character, so i'm going to try to stick to 2, both of which get over 90.

90 I was trying to reach 91 mainly because of on court coach but the grind is too much and I moved on to other games.

lol I grinned this year aka a try hard lol, but no OVR doesn't matter IQ does. I did want to share my journey though to the message board.

This was def the hardest part for me only having one character. I hate how they switched it as last year all your characters counted towards same REP bar. This year I plan to have multiple characters and not focus on the OVR.

90 pure shooter

Wish I never made the pure shooter, was convinced by my pro-am team to make one since it was a better fit (they said), left that team a long time ago and haven't used it since.

92- Ovr Sharpshooting rebounder PF

I wasn’t crazy about either of my builds but I do like playing the 4 much more.

Next year I’m making 1 player a PF . Hoping to get at least a 94.

86 Rim Protector, but I genuinely HATED the grind. I'm just glad that my player was still usable although it wasn't a perimeter player. In past two 2K's, I normally earned enough VC from PNO alone to create two players. Historically, I don't go above 90, because I like the challenge. I might try 94 (obviously depending on the grind) and stop.

I'm most likely going to run it back with my Two Way, im really hoping that for 19 there is a noticeable speed differential between bigs and the max height is brought down to 7'1.

SG Slashing Shot Creator - 94
PG Sharpshooting Playmaker - 91. Or 92. I can't remember.
C Rebounding Post Scorer - Second upgrade in 90. I think.
C Two Way Stretch - 88 or 89

I sold the game this week and bought myself a cheesesteak with the cash I got lol

Next year I'm going to do just one build, likely a slashing shot creator at PG or playmaking shot creator because I'm going to be busier and there is going to be something called Red Dead Redemption 2 coming out that you guys might have heard of lol. That's definitely going to eat into 2k time

Since Dude asked his question, I kinda want to chime in on this post too. What was it like using the Pure Rim Protector? I rarely run into another RP in ProAm.
