After playing many games on many settings and sliders i have found a very simple and competitive setting for play now. I went back to All Pro , I put the threshold on 75 with the default sliders at 50. I changed the game speed to fast and the hitting , coverage, tackling and running felt so organic and natural. Now here is the “but “ part. On kickoffs and punt returns the user controlled player will glide forward after receiving the ball. It does not happen on normal speed. I like the fast game speed but it’s an eyesore to see that on every kickoff and punt return .

Whenever I've seen the "gliding" it's always correlated with the player having a high Kick Return stat. Unless you're seeing something different than I am, I think it's supposed to happen to make top returners more dangerous by getting them up to speed more quickly.Comment

In theory, if we are talking about the same thing. Though it comes at the expense of gimped returners, which are only just now in M19 becoming the type of threat they should be; correcting a moment of awkward player movement should, under no circumstances, take priority over gameplay and players playing according to their ratings. I'd leave it and live with it. Again, assuming of course we're talking about the same thing.Comment

I'm having the same issue on very fast. There's also an issue where there's a hesitation from the RB on handoffs from playing on very fast. The Devs definitely need to know about these issues playing on other game speeds besides normal.Comment

Yes it’s just that area . I just can’t have the game not work like I want it. I need all three phase to work correct. I’ll try lowering the kick return rating and see if that helps if it goes astray I will just go back to normal speed.Comment

This issue happens on any speed other than normal. When playing on slow speed there is a slight delay when handing the ball off to your RB. It's like your stuck in mud for a second before accelerating. This needs to be patched asap along with players walking through each other's bodies when breaking the huddle.Comment

I had the SAME issue on “Slow” speed and it was really frustrating me until and OS’er (SilverBullet) pointed out that those glitches don’t happen on “Normal” speed.
So I switched to Normal speed and I have not had any issues since.
I Tweeted videos of it to Clint, John White, the main Madden Twitter handle... but they always ignore me unless I compliment the game. I included videos of it too, but I think they are told to ignore people on Twitter unless we compliment the game or say something nice.
It’s obvious to me they don’t test this game except for modes they personally play. I think that’s why the dev team never fixes glitches in Franchise mode or speeds beside normal speed... they have a monopoly and they don’t play Franchise mode so they don’t care. They know we don’t have any choice due to the monopoly.Comment

If you switch to the broadcast camera view on all kicking situations, the gliding glitch disappears.Comment

I have been testing on fast using 75 speed parity and really liking the fluidity as well. Not sure I have seen the kickoff issue but maybe with the speed parity closer to 100 the animation doesn’t hiccup as much?

Does the 75 parity change negatively affect the cpu run game?EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment
