Hello, all. I've been tinkering with the sliders since day 1 of the EA early access release and believe I have finally gotten them nailed down. This set is for All-Madden difficulty and will pose a challenge to most players without any of the AI cheese typically encountered on All-Madden. However, I have struck a great balance between challenging, realistic, and fun to make just about every game played an engrossing one. After getting everything set after much testing, I believe this is the best football game ever made. I have included a YouTube video of the last game I played with these settings and sliders so you can see firsthand just how realistically the game plays with them. At the end of the video, I also show all the stats from the games I've played in my second season of franchise mode with these settings. Please watch the full video and look at the stats over the course of 5 games if you have any doubts. You WILL be very pleasantly surprised and undoubtedly excited to implement these for your own franchises. First, though, some basic rules I play by.
-Only control the ball carrier on offense. Never user catch.
-Let the AI handle the running back hit the hole and take control after he's reached the second level. This allows for the BCV rating to be utilized and seemingly prevents the CPU rush defense from being overly aggressive.
-Select plays on defense, but highlight the FS or SS and hold LB/L1 throughout every play for auto-control. This allows for the AI to control your defense without you jumping routes or having a great pass rush on every play. I use broadcast camera view while on defense for a realistic presentation since I'm not technically controlling any players.
-Only choose plays (both offense and defense) from coach suggestions. This prevents you from choosing money plays or plays you're comfortable with every time. Decide if you want a man or zone defense or run or pass play, but choose those types from the coach suggestions. If you want a specific type of play (such as a pitch) and it isn't in the coach suggestions, then feel free to do so every once in a while. Don't abuse it, though.
-Feel free to hot route on offense and adjust defensive assignments as needed. Just don't take advantage of the AI's capability when doing so.
-Access the Coach Adjustments in the playbook at the beginning of your first offensive possession each game and set your blocking to aggressive. Do not forget to do this.
If something isn't listed, that means the choice is up to your personal preference. Also, please do not automatically dismiss these because a slider looks too low or too high for what you think it should be or are used to. Throw away all pre-conceived notions on what you think a slider value should be and trust how the game will play for you. And now, the settings.

I'm currently 1-4 with only one blowout which was against the Patriots. The rest of the games have been decided by an average margin of 6.5 points and were very competitive.
