    Attribute effect

I have found that if you put your attribute effect 8 or higher it is best you leave all shooting accuracy at 50, player miss way to many open nets otherwise. Originally i was going with AE of 8 and had my accuaracy down to 44, but i put it back up to 50 and seeing better results.

Awesome! I had noticed I was missing the net like crazy.

I haven't played 19 much yet but I have noticed that AE on 10 has more shots going wide than 18 had.

I'm actually liking it on default so far, but you are right... if you do increase it you would want to keep accuracy at default or bump up.

I have done some more testing and surprisingly the best games i had were with AE set to 9. Conidering i played with them at 8 on NHL 18, i find this interesting. I still have to do some tweaking as the CPU still dominates a little too much, but i have found the most realistic hitting to be on AE 9. I do have my hitting turned down also. I'll post exactly what i am using soon. The difference between AE set at 7 and 9 is huge, when i play on 7 now it feels way too arcadey. I might try and make a spreadsheet showing the differences i have seen between 7,8 & 9

I’m definitely interested in seeing what you come up with!

What are your shot sliders and game diff set at ? I'm using Altito's but using PRO with AE at 8.

I use all star, and I’m pretty sure my shot sliders are all at 50 due to the AE set at 9

I did some more experimenting last night. I was still using the AE at 9 but i dropped the speed to 1, i usually play at 2. To my surprise it actually played quite well. I really noticed the difference in speed between the top tier and bottom tier players. Also when players got tired they really slowed down, which had a huge effect on cycling and even catching them for a break away pass. I will probably play 2 games on speed 2 and then 2 games on 1 and report back.

I feel like i am getting close to the sliders i want to use in my season.

Here’s my latest stats from playing with speed at 1, really liked how it played. Scored wristlet and slap shot. IMG_1759.jpg

Im still really torn about this slider. On one hand yes your stars stand out but it also makes your 3rd and 4th liners nearly useless.

That’s understandable. But if you look at a teams 3rd and 4th line players, most don’t generate a whole lot of offense throughout the season anyways. They’re mostly pitted against the other teams top forwards in order to shut them down. Just my two cents on the subject.

I was a huge advocate of AE on max 10/10 last year, but I'm not sure if it's the new RPM skating or what.. but I tried a game on 6/10 and it was terrible. Players seemed to glide into some odd animations at times and it just felt weird to me.

I'm thinking default at 5/10 plays the best so far in my testing. To each his own though, we all have different styles and know how we want the game to play.

Spragga what did you end up going with as far as AE and speed? I’ve been using speed at 2 for the past couple of years and have been satisfied. I’ve also tried AE at 8 with speed at 2 and it seemed like a fast paced game of hockey. Just like IRL, the opposing team was taking away time and space so I had to think quickly as to where I wanted to move the puck to....

MizzouRah, Ive also noticed odd animations at AE to 10 and that's why I've kept mine at 5 for the time being.
