    Latest Nvidia driver broke HDR

    Previously Madden would switch my monitor's HDR mode on or off as needed when starting the game. But dang the laster Nvidia driver killed it. Now I have to manually switch HDR on within my monitor.

              What version broke it, and what version did you roll back to?

                  Driver 411.63 broke it. But the previous driver would turn it on but turn it off when exiting the game. I guess I really should go back to the driver was available when it first debuted. Nvidia and EA needs to address this crap but instead they are focused on FIFA smh

                          Yep Rolling back to driver 399.24 fixed my issue. Driver 411.63 even stopped MadVR from switching my monitor to HDR mode when watching movies. This driver is all bad. Don't install unless you need it for the new Forza, FIFA, or Tomb Raider smh.

                              Glad to know I’m not crazy. Unfortunately, the RTX 2080 has no rollback driver. There are so many other games that just keep randomly crashing too. They seriously need to get on this.

                                  I see where version 416.6 was released today. Anyone tried it, did it fix or break anything?

                                      Nope, it's still broken. Don't bother downloading unless you have a 20 series or playing Forza. Sucks bad smh. Somebody needs to create a thread on Nvidia's forum.

                                          So the latest driver is fine if you manually switch your monitor to HDR before launching Madden? As it is for me the game will automatically switch to HDR but when I exit I have to go into the display settings and turn it off or all of my windows desktop items look weird and oversaturated.

                                          I guess I am asking as I am consider Forza Horizon 4 and would want to update the drivers if needed.
