    FILE DETAILS
-Updated Positions for all NBA players
-100% Updated Player Contracts to best of UI ability
-Adjusted Coach Contracts, Badges, Bench Depth
-Updated Consistency and Intangibles Ratings for all NBA players
-Full Attributes completed for the following teams: 76ers, Bucks, Bulls, Heat, Jazz, Knicks, Pelicans, Warriors

    RATINGS LIST

    AUTHOR NOTES (Continually updated)
Currently I'm editing a team per day. Missing players will be added as 2K Sports releases them (I will download their DNA and upload to file). The loose goal is to have all players updated prior to season start in about a month.

Due to inadequacy of 2K Sports' formula, Power Forwards are coming out with Overall Ratings 1-2 points lower than I would like. I don't actually believe Kristaps Porzingis is a worse / less valuable player than Enes Kanter (whose OVR is likewise inflated by an archaic Center formula)

Shaun Livingston's lowest rated position is PG. He rates higher as a Center than he does a PG, which is a first in my 15 years editing NBA 2K ratings! For what it's worth, SF is his highest rated position (79). This is due to the PG formula not giving enough value to Livingston's elite Post-Up skill (of which he is measurably better than everyone on the Warriors not named Kevin Durant or DeMarcus Cousins - this includes the likes of Klay Thompson and Andre Iguodala).

I’m going to try these when I get home. How does the player DNA work?? Can you import new players into older rosters, please explain??

Love your rosters just gotta say. You don't happen to have player shot/touch tendency ratings you could post do You? I'm on xbox1 so can't enjoy your roster unfortunately

Glad to see you on PS4 and doing rosters this yr. I dont agree with you on some things, but when it comes to ratings and a good understanding of 2k's ratings formula, or lack their of one, lol, you probably have a better grasp on ratings in the game than anyone.

Could one of you ps4 guys do us xbox1 guys a huge favor and maybe post a video scrolling thru the players on each teams shot and touch tendency ratings?. In the quick edit screen it would only take a few minutes. I'd at least like to try those tendencies of his

What’s the benefit of the position assignments. For example I noticed that Bogdanovic is SF/SG in 2K but you have him as SF/PF. Also Collison is PG/SG in 2K but you’ve got him listed just as point guard. I know each position has a different rating scale but each of these players still has the same primary position. Does the secondary position affect ratings as well? Or is just substitution based after that.

                  Also what’s source for that?

                    Substitutions/lineups.
                    Basketball-Reference lineup data is used
^Their position estimate is just that - an estimate (they order players by height/weight, which causes issues on teams with point-forwards). I've checked lineup data to verify any discrepancies.

For Bogdanovic BBR estimates his minutes at
                    87% SF / 13% PF

                    Reviewing his lineup data:
                    https://www.basketball-reference.com...2/lineups/2018

Bogdanovic was the SF in 8 of his top 10 lineups.
The two lineups he was a PF were
                    #7 (66 mins): Joseph-Oladipo-Stephenson-Bogdanovic-Turner
                    #10 (29 mins): Joseph-Stephenson-Robinson-Bogdanovic-Sabonis

                    EDITORS NOTE
I have James Harden at SF despite the 2018 lineup data because the Rockets are expected to start Paul-Gordon-Harden-Tucker-Capela.

It's a bit odd to scroll through the roster and see Harden at SF rather than SG, but that's the NBA we're transitioning into (he at least has the weight/strength/rebounding - we're obviously seeing lineups get smaller up front across the NBA).

There are a handful of examples where I adjusted position because of team structure, but that's the most notable/recent example I can think of.

When you say that you updated consistency in your roster, did you mean both offensive and defensive?

Also, I see you post some in the tendency edit thread Vann started. How do you think your edits with consistency and intangible would mesh with his changes?
