    MICHAPOPS gameplay mod with sliders and settings

    Balanced gameplay between cpu and user. will continue to update with additions.


    Delete your profile.

    Exit the game.

    Load up the game and choose simulation.

    Choose Expert difficulty (that means all madden)

    All Assists off except Auto switch play

    Normal gamespeed

    9 min quarters

    All visual feedback off except presnap menu.

    75 speed threshold. (75 speed threshold set in both the main menu and cfm)

    50 fatigue

    50 injury (50 injury in both main menu and cfm)

    user/cpu sliders all default. Obviously you can mess with the sliders at your discretion but I prefer default.


    CHANGES:

    -Speed, agility, acceleration, block shedding, interception likelihood, fumble likelihood, tackle ability all equaled between the user and cpu.

    -able to scramble much earlier in the qb's drop back

    -sideline awareness much improved

    -defenders will not unrealistically break on the ball

    -user and cpu offensive and defensive lines are equal, ratings will dictate interactions and time in the pocket, no unfair advantages.


    -cpu and user run game is equal, The cpu run game is effective and the users can be just as effective on default all madden (with the obvious changes to speed threshold and injury noted in the settings)


    Load this file in to the frosty editor (not the mod manager)






    version3.2 posted: another difference discovered in the same setting between the passing, and passing_simulation tab.

    For max_lead_distance in the passing tab, moving it up or down will effect user vs cpu advantage.

    For max_lead_distance in the passing_simulation tab, moving it up or down will effect general offensive production for both user vs cpu. ( I know this game is strange)

    For version 3.1 I had them both set at 31.25, meaning low offensive production from both user and cpu, but a very slight cpu advantage.

    Version 3.2 has offensive production at 40, and user/cpu advantage at 33.

    ever since the last nVidia graphics update my game is stuttering, still trying to figure it out.

    Do you have to do this for it to work? I usually play at 15 mins with 13 sec accelerated clock and slow speed

      Youre welcome to give it a shot. I think 15 min with 13 accel clock should be ok, its the slow speed Im not sure about. Again, give it a shot, if you like it, great, if not give it a try on normal.


      I personally would try normal speed 9 min no run off first to see how you like it, then try slow speed with longer clock to compare.

        I'm gonna post an update pretty soon, one of the settings I put too far in the negative, ill explain more later, but it gives the cpu an unfair advantage, this games not easy to tune, but theres alot that works well and alot more to explore.

          Only had one game to play with before work but it feels good to have the CPU be able to actually freaking run now. Much less random spinning and crap. The one thing I noticed, and it could just be a fluke play, but I was playing against the Bucs and Khalil Mack got stuffed by the Bucs RT for a good 7 seconds, which seemed a bit off to me. But it could just be a weird play.
          Loving it so far.
          EDIT: I see you already updated it. I'll check it out when I'm home.

              Only played 1 game so far , but loving what i'm seeing! Line play is good, and cpu running feels much better. One question though, do I have to delete my profile and all that stuff every time i play CFM?

                  version 3 posted, got rid of the coverage issues with version 2. Ill keep both version 2 and others going forward due to the fact some said they like it.

                          Played with version 3, I'm loving it, although I'm noticing it's really hard to get a pass rush going. HOWEVER, I'm playing with the Jets, so that could be why.

                            I think it's more the settings than the jets, the issue is this, everything, and I mean everything is tethered to the ball.
                            In other words when speaking of the pass rush, the pass rushers are going for the ball,not the qb, just like when the ball is in the air, everything is tied to it. So when I bumped up the pass rush, it also bumps up how the coversge reacts to the ball.

                            So when I toned down the coverage, it also toned down the pass rush, it's pretty much unavoidable almost no matter what settings I mess with. If you would sinthros, delete your profile, exit the game, load up the game outside of frosty, and go through setting everything up how it's listed in the first post.....simulation, expert, etc. Go into your c.f.m. and reset the sliders, the enter the sliders how they are listed in the first post, tell me what you think of the gameplay.
