So I'm in mid January in my franchise mode and there hasn't been a single CPU to CPU trade made all season. I checked to make sure that CPU trading is on and it is. Is this normal or are you guys seeing CPU trades in your franchise modes?

i'm in my 2nd season and currently in January also. In the current season I have seen 2 CPU to CPU trades but that's it.
You should find that it will pick up in February for trade deadline.
I can't remember clearly, but I recall not many trades happening in NHL 18 either other than in February. -

I'm wondering if trade difficulty has an impact on the number of trades made by the cpu. You'd think that if trades are harder to make then the ai logic would have a harder time creating trades that it would consider fair for both teams.
Anyhow, I know this has been the issue for pretty much the whole history of the series but this year I have seen zero trades. I just wish that it would be a bit more realistic. In the real NHL there is always small trades going through at least once per month.Comment

First year with my (now dead) expansion franchise, there we two prior to February, then 15-20 before the deadline.
