Negative Funds

Hey guys
Got an issue where i need your help cause it makes a long term franchise unable to play for me..

In owner mode i´m constantly making negativ funds..

I havent changed anything (prices) and havent upgrade my stadium or something. After one season im always about -70M and so i´m unable to negotiate contracts sign free agents or relocate..
Playing with the Raiders. Someone know how to deal with this problem??

Havent had any problems in past Maddens with the funds. Wanna start new franchise tonight pls help

Fire Gruden and his 100 million contract and then clear Cap penalties .... to start. Other than that I don't know.

You think it is possible to fire Gruden Year 1 week 1, to get rid of his contract and then immediatly sign him to a new contract with better conditions?
Could imagine that he wont show up to hire "new HC"?

Go the the commissioner settings and you can manually add funds. I know it's not the most 'realistic' but Madden funds have never been realistic to begin with.

But this is only possible in cloud/online franchises i guess?

For offline you go to options (settings), then user teams, and that is where you can add funds to your team $5 million at a time. You can do this for any team you control as an owner

It's in offline franchise too. I've done it. And I only play offline.

If you are a user of one team, how can i be a user of another? I may stop being the user of my team and do another one instead or may run two teams. How do you do that?


Maybe this is the wrong place to ask but figure somebody will reply lol.

Don't you just have to create a character for the second team (the team you wanna control) and retire the character you control on the first team?

Yeah you just have to press the right stick (xbox1) and than you can create new characters and roll with as much teams you want. Owner/Coach doesnt matter..

So create a new charactor and then choose what team to use him with or you right click on a team and then create a charactor? Ill have to try it out. I have PS4.

As far as i remember, push right stick - create new character -choose team - choose owner/coach and create a new one or take over as the current

So the issue was Gruden´s big contract..

Tested few things yesterday.

Default prices, lower prices, higher prices. Everything else was set up exactly the same, and of course no auto negotiations..result? -12/-17 to start in the offseason.

So last possibility i fire Gruden week 1 preseason, after everything was done except the game. Hire new HC, gave him Grudens playbooks and set the scheme as Grudens. Play the game, advance to next week, fire HC and hire Gruden again..
Simmed rest of the season and ended up with ca +35/+45

Not a sexy solution but at least you can play a franchise as the Raiders Owner, with Gruden as your HC

Yes that is it. Looked around and there are some teams with 75 to 77 overall ratings. The Broncos in my franchise has a 69 offensive erating, overall 76. Never seen a offense that low but I think im going to be the owner of the Cardinals who are a 76 overall while still being the owner of the Chargers.
I think Ill just sim my games for the Chargers though and maybe play one here and there and concentrate on fixing the Cards. Maybe even move them and rename them.
