Just bought Fifa
After buying Pes,mainly for the Scottish League and stadiums.Sick of waiting I bought Fifa19.This game is superior over Pes in every way possible. If they don't update the stadiums and faces I will never play Pes again.Feel like I've been cheated.Tags: None -

Kind of feel the same way as you do although I’m fighting it but I think you’re right...

Re: Just bought Fifa
So disappointing,I'm from Glasgow and was looking forward to playing as Rangers.Feel like I was mislead.Fifa made strides forward while Pes may have stumbled a bit.Could have maybe overlooked that if they came out with an update in a timely manner.Comment

Re: Just bought Fifa
Do you really believe the gameplay of FIFA is superior? Or EA's ability to throw money at licenses is superior? If the later, then you're correct.
On a separate note, what system do you play PES on? If you only own an XBone, then PES is not the game for you. If you own PS4/PC, then there are downloads to make the Scottish Premiership look fantastic. No stadiums, but the faces, uniforms, etc. are great.Comment

Agreed. I’m so conflicted between these two games. Both offer good stuff. This year I tend to be more interested in FIFA

Re: Just bought Fifa
Nothing wrong w/ friendly debates.
The problem is, FIFA gets too much credit because of their licensing alone. This would be true for any sport with a second simulation. Imagine an American football game with the greatest game play ever and no official licenses, Madden would still be considered the best, even if all the features were awful. Licenses give games a huge boost regardless of how good the game actually plays. Sad, but true.
I also play FIFA, but only for Pro Clubs with my mates. The game is meant for the old school, arcade style game with extravagant goals and a very fast pace. At Operation Sports, most of us are here because we love simulation sports gaming. And FIFA doesn't do that well at all in my opinion...outside of the licensing.Comment

I have been really enjoying both games. Although, I seem to get more frustrated with PES. I think I get a little tired of losing in big stretches. I win one game in my master league but then proceed to lose two, three or four in a row. I just don’t feel like there is any adjustments I can make to keep from losing. Then I thought maybe I needed to decrease the difficulty level, but then I proceed to win easily. I do not feel this way about FIFA. Maybe if PES had sliders...? Although, I play default on FIFA.
