Ray's Madden 19 All Madden Sim Sliders
 

*Update 1/28/2019*

This took a little longer than expected. I kept finding little things that were bothering me, but i am really happy i took the time to fine tune things. These sliders have actually exceeded my expectations! I'm having a blast with these, so give em a try!

*Dropped from 10 min quarters to 9 min quarters. No acc clock*

*Player skill*

Qb acc - 40 - Dropped 1 point for more incompletions and also helps wr catching animations. If a pass is a little off target the receiver will go get the ball. This is missing in most slider sets.

Pass bl - 53 - Bumped up 3 points to allow more time in the pocket, but you still have to get rid of the ball quickly.

Run bl - 47 - Dropped 3 points. Tightened things up. Still able to break big runs, but far fewer. You shouldn't be getting 100 yards every game.

Fumbles - 52 - Bumped 1 point for better run animations.

*Cpu skill*

Qb acc - 27 - This is by far the biggest change. Cpu qb was completing too many passes, so now you will see alot more missed throws and overthrows, especially on deep balls and when they are under pressure.

Run bl - 48 - Dropped 2 points. Same reason as user.

Fumbles - 52 - Bumped 1 point for better run animations.

Int - 26 - Dropped 1 point to loosen defense and throw less picks. Also allows better catch animations. You won't see a receiver dropping every pass when a defender breathes on them too hard. You will actually see combat catches.

Pass cov - 51 - Raised 3 points to tighten coverage.

Tack - 32 - Dropped 1 point for better tackle animations. Less big hits.

*Penalty sliders*

These are changes inside cfm. NO CHANGES TO THE MAIN MENU PENALTY SLIDERS!

Offsides - 65 - Raised 1 point for more aggressive defense and better animations.

Holding - 58 - Dropped 1 point for better animations.

Remember to enter these changes in the main menu and just import them into your cfm. I definitely recommend deleting your profile before applying the changes.

Introduction

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Ray. I have been playing Madden since the John Madden football days. Yes i'm old. I used to always create my own sliders and i posted my sets here on OS for a couple years with good success, but it's been about 6 or 7 years since i last posted my own. I work 6 days a week, so the last few years i've been using Josh's, Armors, Jarrods, Raider Rens, Matt 10's etc etc. and really appreciate all the hard work they put in. I have really enjoyed the game this year, so i decided to take the time to create my own sliders. I have to give credit where credit is due though, this set started from Matt10's version 21 sliders, which felt like a good base point to start from, so thanks Matt.* I've been working on these sliders for over a month and think i've come up with some pretty unique gameplay. Also i have to thank Armor for his special teams sliders and tdawg for the xp sliders.

The goal of this set

- Eliminate the need for house rules. I absolutely do not use house rules and i especially do not advise using no switch. If you play no switch this probably is not the right slider set for you.

- Have fun!

- Realistic stats

- Realistic animations

- varied animations: i don't want to see the same exact animations over and over

- "fluid" gameplay - eliminate the "forcefield"

- no robo qb

- "any given sunday" i don't want automatic wins ever, even when playing bad teams

- remove as much all madden bs as possible

- remove the need for trait edits. I use EA rosters.

Let's get started...


Delete profile

- Go to settings tab hit A or X

- Select share & manage files

- Select load and delete files

- Use RB or R1 to scroll over and use X or square to delete cpu skill sliders and player skill sliders

- Use LB or L1 to scroll over and use X or square to delete your profile

- Hit the menu button on your controller and quit out of Madden

- Start the game back up and it will be like the first time you started Madden

- Select your favorite team

- Select Simulation on the 2nd tile

- Select expert on the third tile

Hey Ray thanks for taking the time to post! I tried these out earlier and really enjoyed them. For the first time in forever I actually feared the run game!

A few problems popped up that may just be play style related. I play 90% man coverage with the best secondary in the league and Cam threw for 389 with 77 percent completed. Even with the low accuracy the gaps opened on the dbs allowed for a bunch of easy completions.

With 141 plays tallied the two teams combined for over 1k yards and 84 points. In today’s NFL not the strangest thing but both teams had very good D’s So was a bit surprising.

The last issue was in the fourth quarter Carolina has 4 false starts in a row in the red zone I hadn’t seen that yet in 19 so thought it was worth mentioning.

As stated a lot of these issues could be play style related but thought I’d share my experience

I haven't seen that many passing yards. The most i've seen is 350 and that was over ALOT of games, but i probably play 70% zone coverage. You can lower cpu acc down to 31 or 32 and probably see alot more incompletions, which in turn will create less yardage.

Hey mate,

Gave your sliders a try this morning and really enjoyed them. I had been using Matt10’s for awhile and was enjoying them but found most games were low scoring and I didn’t fear the cpu offence at all. Then I moved onto Skundy’s and was getting a better match up but couldn’t quite get them to run so that I was worried about it, so I started tinkering to get it close. Mine ended up very close to yours before I stumpbled across them. The ones that were abit off I was trending in the direction you are at so thought I’d give them a try.
I don’t know wether it was the deleting of the profile or wether the few tweaks were the difference but it was good to play the CPU and be worried about their offence. I ended up winning 25-22 against the Falcons.
Freeman got nearly 200 on me but I was ok with that because it was great to see them attack me that way. The stretch plays and outside runs were the killer. I play safety so it just made me have to hustle that much more to get clean up duty.
I struggled offensively at first but Eventually got in a grove. Falcons were actually driving down in the final minute to take the lead or tie before I got a user pick in redzone to seal it.
Really enjoyed them man, dunno what special sauce u got on them to make the cpu come alive but just wanted to say thanks

Nice man, glad you enjoyed them! Freeman always kills me too, seems like no matter what slider set i am using. Lol

I will most likely be updating these after work today. I was off of work yesterday so i had time to do alot of testing and noticed that there are some games where there is a little too much offense. I switched some things up and think i've found a really nice balance. I want to test one more thing before i post the update, but i am pretty sure we're in a good spot.

Should be coming really soon. Ran into a hiccup yesterday, so i am just trying to make sure everything is playing smooth. Glad to hear you are enjoying them.

Sliders are updated. I am really happy how these turned out. It took a little longer than i would have liked, but it was well worth it!
