Does the Michigan job ever come open?
Online dynasty....This is mine and my friend’s second dynasty because we had to reset it. We are in like year 2026 and Jim Harbaugh is still at Michigan. In our first dynasty we were about at the same point and Michigan’s job security would be low every year, but he was never fired. If Jim never gets fired, then when does he retire?Last edited by TN - BRAVES FAN; 02-12-2019, 09:18 AM.Tags: None -
Re: Does the Michigan job ever come open?
I've played so many different dynasties in this game, and not once have I ever seen Michigan's job come open. I'm sure eventually he would retire, but you'd have to go far ahead in time. I've seen Saban retire many times, sometimes as early as the fourth or fifth year. However, Saban is 12 years older than Harbaugh, so perhaps around 2030 and on?Comment

You could always go in and take control of him and force him to retire. Someone correct me if I’m wrong because I’ve never actually done it. But I know you can control multiple teams/coaches so in theory it should workCheck out my dynasty thread:

You can just create a new coach and it will replace himComment

Re: Does the Michigan job ever come open?
My last dynasty that I played the Michigan job became open at about year 4 or 5. After a couple 7-6 seasons it opened up when they had a 2-10 season, and Harbaugh got fired.

Re: Does the Michigan job ever come open?
my last dynasty michigan came open in about year 2026 or 2027 but it was after about 8 straight years of 8-9 wins. I dont know if he even had more than 10 wins in the entire dynasty.Comment

8- 10+ winning seasons in the last 20 years, but who's counting? Love the rivalry, Bo was from my hometown of Barberton Ohio, so I have much respect for that team up north.Comment

Re: Does the Michigan job ever come open?
He just retired from my current dynasty in 2025. I am Illinois and met #2 Michigan (11-1) in the B1G Championship Game and Illinois was #3 and also 11-1. My season loss was at Michigan while they lost to 10-2 Rutgers. The winner of the Michigan - OSU game was going to win the East.
I'm doing an 8-team playoff and Michigan made it as the #6 seed. They lost in the opening round to #3 USC. That offseason, Michigan was the #1 job to come open.Comment
