Starting to wish this game didn't have sliders.
Seems like I got caught up in chasing the elusive perfect gameplay. And I don't think I'm alone.Had this game since launch and haven't got past 10 games without starting over.So frustrating.

I think EA has made some great improvements with the game play, stick mechanics, AI responses and so on....once you do get the slider you want....

But all that has gone out the window when you start getting slashing, and tripping penalties by the boatload with the bug in them.

If they had fixed that then I would give this years game a great success, but because they never fixed that, the game play you feel cheated as you are playing with one man short for 40% of the game, or you turn off penalties that makes it unrealistic.....for that reason I give this years game to the bottom of the heap of releases.

The Dev and quality control have to do a better job. I won't buy next years version unless I know for sure the penalty issues are fixed.

That's not the half of it,some sliders you use give too many penalties,some no penalties and that using the same tuner. Next years game take away the sliders,just make your game playable and not so much of a gap between difficulties.In the past before sliders I would have played a season by now. The problem is that these sliders do not do what they are supposed to do and you change one and it effects another. Take a look at the slider makers,most are trying to achieve the same result with such different sliders,very very frustrating. The sliders I think are broken,the example being the reason why their is so many tuners downloads.Even the developers have problems with this game.Broken,so sad.If I didn't love hockey and see so much potential in this game I would have dumped it a long time ago.

The tuners have destroyed this game. Why would they give us that beta tuner, but only for a short time, then replace it with something with so many faults? I’m not understanding the logic.

I agree.In the past they had to release games that were finished,now they rely on patches and tuners.

I will say that I love NHL 19. I think it's the best one this gen, but I did heavy slider testing for months and edited rosters by hand.

Sliders are not broken,game is.Every time you have good sliders a patch or tuner comes out and screws things up.

Are these sliders for cpu vs cpu games only - or is that just how you tested them?

Cycloniac in my cpu vs cpu testing I’ve been able to get passing percentages in the 50’s and 69’s with pass accuracy at 95

It's possible. I'm curious why you would want them so low, NHL average is in the 70s.
