    New patches?

I have the game working JUST RIGHT for cpu vs cpu now. Tackling is right on point and many interesting broken tackles. My question is...how do I keep EA from forcing me to download patches. I have x box one and do not want to have this get fouled up after two weeks of great games. Also...everything else is also really good except the stupid punting.

Don’t keep the disc in the drive and play offline. No more roster updates, so you dont need to keep getting online for those. In all honesty, i doubt we see another patch. This time frame is when they gave us the last patch on 18

Actually, disconnect from the internet. I'm not sure you can play without the disc, but if you are not connected to the internet, there is nothing at your home then for a patch to go to. I'm on PS4 now for my sports games so sometimes when I do want to download a patch for MLB, Fifa patches, queue up; I delete those from the queue and download my desired patch then take the system off line again. I honestly don't know if you can play the current game without the disc, but if you are connected there's a chance you'll accidentally download a patch you may not want.

You do need the disc to play on console (except for those who purchased the digital download where there is no disc).
