Major Franchise Bug
 

Every player’s morale in franchise mode is very angry with their team role and there is no fix.

For some reason the game sets every MLB player’s team role to the lowest possible. “Bench” for every position player and “Bullpen” for every pitcher.

This causes every player in franchise mode to be rated 3-5 overall points less than their true rating.

Can someone get a hold of a dev and see if this can be addressed?

The show nation forums or Twitter are your best bets. From what I saw on twitter there was an issue with DD not loading (empty dd team issue) last night and they already put out a fix so they seem to fix issues quickly.

I started up a new franchise this morning and my player's morale was varied between Estatic, Happy, Satisfied, Unhappy and Angry.

This was after the roster update so maybe that was the difference????

I just tried out a franchise mode and noticed this as well. The players' overall morales are fine, however, their "status" under team role states they are bench or bullpen despite being starters. I saved the live roster, so that shouldn't be the issue.

edit: simmed a season and it did not resolve itself.

Does anybody know if this happens with imported franchises as well?

Good question. Just tried my '18 franchise and the issue is present. Seems like a visual bug where players are showing the status "bench", "bullpen" and "minors".

This is a screenshot of the player morale screen from a franchise I just started about 5 minutes ago

I am not seeing the team role morale bug thats being mentioned.

I also do not see it in my carryover franchise save.

Just started one with the Braves and I'm not seeing it either.
