PS4 controller has no working middle button (can't even manually save Franchise)

I just got Madden for PC about a day ago. I've been beating my head against the desk learning how to edit uniforms and helmets, and I've made a lot of progress.


HOWEVER... now that I've installed several mods that I want, when I start a CFM, there is no possible way to manually save. I'm using a PS4 controller, and the normal big fat square button doesn't do anything. As a result, I can't save.



The only reason I'm doing offline franchise is so that I can reload a save if something I don't like happens. If I can't manually save I might as well be doing an online franchise.




Any troubleshooting suggestions besides "buy an XBox controller"? Thanks!

Never mind I'm just going to buy an XBox controller. Apparently EA doesn't support PS4 controllers due <insert conspiracy theory>, so I guess it's time to get with the PC times. Only used a keyboard in the past, but Madden with a keyboard is madness.



Pls delete Mods!

Use the share button, not the middle pad.
