I am going with Legend pitching and All-Star hitting, with very specific tweaks to the CPU hitting to work in conjunction with a clean screen and vibration off for pitching. This piece (Vibration off) is very important as it makes you learn your pitchers by sight and will produce some bad pitches that the CPU will punish you for, without also hammering "Pitchers" pitches with the adjustments to CPU timing and solid hits.
As always it is about experience for me and these give me the in game experience I am looking for with quick counts. I have had a wide variety of games in test franchises using different teams (Padres, Yankees and Cubs)which I think is a good indicator of how they will work for different teams talent levels. Thanks for giving these a try if you play QC and as always feedback is welcome.
Final Set 6-7-19 Credit to Josh C for a great find for All-Star hitting. Moving CPU control to 6 makes you focus much more on getting the strike zone dialed in. Pitcher rarely miss badly and do a much better job of painting the corners. Human control on 6 also assists in hitting the corners on Legend and increases strikeouts to a realistic level.
Extensive testing has been done with the OSFM rosters and this should be the final version barring patch issues, so back to regular franchise and result posting.
