This is my first time playing MLB The Show and I have to said there are so many modes it becomes convoluted and a colossal time waster for me.

yeah , I've never been in for DD & when my available time dwindled I gave up RTTS . now franchise is where its at for me . if franchise is too convoluted maybe March to October is worth looking into . easy peasey lineup & play

He could be one, but I think a lot of people would look to try and nab some of the diamond legends or flashbacks first. Especially in DD. Also Realmuto is another solid choice.

It's probably a matter of preference though.

Grandal is only slightly more hidden than say , Bryce Harper

this is supposed to be for all modes , not just DD , except it almost always morphs back to just DD
