Did MLB 19 Remove Exterior/Skyline Shots
 

After watching some YouTube videos of MLB 19 it looks like they took out the city skyline/exterior shots. Any reason why and will they be back in MLB 20?

I'm not sure I follow your meaning. I haven't played at all the parks yet... Been playing DD, moments, and MtO. Are you talking about the live shot outside the park? Like they do with the arenas in NBA 2K? I don't recall those in last years game.

What skyline are you referring to?

They were stock footage of a landmark in the city the game was in for the most part. They also took me out of the game because they weren't in 1080p and looked kinda grainy. They were just stock footage film not cgi.

Yeah, I'm glad they're gone. The resolution was terrible and off putting.

I really liked the 'idea' behind it. But every time i saw it i did wonder why in the world they would put low-resolution clips in a high-definition game. I get the space issue, but it did make the presentation look forced, or poorly edited/spliced together.
