    Players with bad defensive awareness

Being a bad on ball defender is one thing, who are some guys that have bad defensive awareness? This can be guys who are often caught ball watching, lose sight of action, lets things get by them, it can even be good on one one defenders who lack awareness.

Interested to hear past players as well as modern day players.

This is a rough topic because ALL players have defensive lapses and most fans have no idea what to look for on defense. For example LeBron James' defensive awareness and effort was questioned multiple times throughout the year.

It's crystal clear that it's a massive exaggeration, yet it's something the media will run with, create narratives with, and even define careers on. James Harden was guarding Kevin Durant in these playoffs but there are still plenty of fans who think of him as a defensive blooper waiting to happen.
