Hey guys! I have been around the forums for years, not much of a poster but I wanted to show you guys this game I have been working on for quite a while, Its a basketball GM game called On Paper Sports Basketball '20.

I have always loved simming through countless seasons of NBA 2K and NBA live making stupid trades and seeing what would happen. What if this trade went through or what would happen if this team actually drafted this guy. It has always been something I enjoyed doing, that's really what inspired me to make this game.

The main thing I really wasn't a fan of was the lack of customization on the 2K and live games, 2K has definitely stepped up there customization aspect lately but I really wanted to focus on customization, I also wanted this game to feel a little more casual then some of the hardcore simulation GM games out there.

Features:

Custom Teams/Players - Ability to easily create/edit teams and players make whatever league you want to with however many teams you want

Franchise Mode- Inifinite seasons with a full offseason

Sliders -
-Turn off conferences
-adjust number of games in a season or number of playoff seeds
-Switch season type between pro and college
-Change playoff series length
-Game speed
-Game sliders

Import/Export Rosters - import and export custom rosters and draft classes

-Added trading of multiple players at once
-Added trading of draft picks
-Added trading in offseason and during draft
-Added coaching sliders (Focus, Offensive Focus, Defensive Focus, Tempo, Rotation Size)
-Added player interests in Free Agency(Players can now reject offers if they feel the offer is to low)
-Added a difficulty slider(Rookie, Pro, All-Star, Superstar and MVP)
-Added trade difficulty slider
-Added more efficient list views in some areas with huge quantities of data(league leaders, free agency)
-Overhauled navigation which should provide a much smoother/less buggy experience
-Slider menu overhaul
-Implemented a dynamic player rotation system
-Added player roles(Star, Starter, 6th Man, Role Player, Benchwarmer)

Currently it does not. I definitely want to look into adding something like coaching sliders or something a long those lines so you can customize exactly how the team plays but currently its really just based solely on the player ratings and lineups

Quick update! Apple has finally gotten back to me and approved the app, not sure what the issue was originally but it is now available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store!

First off, I love the game. I love the concept, and the customizable part of it. I do have one complaint. It isn’t very user-friendly. For example, if I make a single change in my franchise, there is no back out button, so I have to go back to the main page. Sometimes it doesn’t even load the dynasty back up, so it gets deleted. Can you please fix this? Thank you very much.

Thanks for the feedback! I have an update that I should be releasing within the next couple of days that is going to bring a bunch of new features, I also have been working on making it more user friendly as well, so the next update will hopefully fix all of those issues!

I really love the game, and I hope others do as well. I would probably rate it 4 star right NOW. The Beta version. That’s amazing.

Just submitted to the google play store and apple app store, update should be available shortly on google play, app store should take around 24-48 hours to get approved, I will let you all know as soon as it does!

Awesome glad to hear it!

I also wanted everyone to know that I literally somehow now just realized that my app client provides over the air updates so if you go and start the app on a wifi connection and then close it and reopen it again you all should have the latest update which includes the following...


-Revamped save menu and save system
The system before was broken, I had issues with files randomly being deleted and sometimes files would refuse to delete on ios, I have switched to a much better system all together! so you don't have to worry about missing save files anymore!
---you can now name your saves and delete them
---There is now an autosave feature for rosters when editing them it will be saved in a file called roster_autosave
--Franchise will autosave the current roster at the end of each offseason in a file named franchise_autosave

-Create a player menu changes
---You can now directly add a player to a team rather than free agency


Since I changed the entire save system I will be posting an update on Google Play and The App Store but now that I know about the over the air update feature I will be focusing a lot on that, Huge updates will still go to the app stores but minor bug fixes and feature additions will be added over the air!

I got a new phone and I am unable to download the game from my old apps menu on Google play. Can you help me out? I don't see it available even to rebuy
