Agreed. Not saying it’s a bad thing that it looks exactly like 2k19, just an observation. But also agreed that the gameplay needs a lot of work.

Looks pretty good. Didn't expect much of a graphics overhaul anyway. Also looks like they made AD's hair a bit shorter which is cool to see that they pay attention to little details like that sometimes. One thing I do have a gripe about though is AD's t-shirt sleeve length. Should be shorter, which I think would make his shoulders look more broad since he has such a unique body type.

If it’s obviously going to be a glorified roster update for graphics, at least get the cover guys under shirt sleeves the correct length

Nah I lost hope with 2K making cover athletes consistently look spot on. Giannas was the first one that actually looked great but with 2K18, Kyrie just looked weird.

2K19, LBJ didn't get his new face scan in until mid year. 2K20 they won't change much with AD because his face scan looks really great but his undershirt is just an eyesore.

AD do us a favor and please stop wearing undershirt IRL so he can actually look more spot on in game

You won't see a real graphics jump until 2k on next gen. The most that will happen is they fix some face models to look a bit better, update hair, ect. But this is as good as it gets until next gen.

You won't see a real graphics jump until 2k on next gen. The most that will happen is they fix some face models to look a bit better, update hair, ect. But this is as good as it gets until next gen.

Agreed. This generation graphics has peaked. Unless they are going to work on lighting, I wouldn't expect anything "better" 2k20 and 2k21(current gen) in terms of graphics. At most we will see updated face scans and maybe changes to body types.

My hope for next 2 iterations before next gen is that they continue to work on gameplay. If they can work on making gameplay more responsive and user control, I would be good.

I still think there is room for improvement graphically I just think this is 2k taking the year off to concentrate on next gen next year for 2k21. The thing that annoys me most is they expect you to pre order and will talk it up as though it’s this totally new game which clearly it isn’t.

Lighting looks like it could be improved but otherwise much of the same..

And, it just had to be an above the waist shot so we can still debate whether lower bodies have been fixed..!

graphic look fine to me.. gameplay need improve more better in 2k20. i don't want to skip 2k20 to play 2k21 on PS5 next year in November 2020. i want play 2k20 for My GM/League mode for more fun while playing. i don't want to keep playing 2k19 but i know there is roster update to add Zion, Barrett and other rookies that doesn't have scanned their face and body too.* 2k19's gameplay need some work but hopefully 2k20 add few new features add to gameplay like off the ball system, Ball tangibility and defense improvements

Looking at games like Battlefield 5 and Star Wars Battlefront, which both have some of the best graphics i’ve ever seen, I think they could still improve in the graphics department.

Players still look a little cartoonish in 2k, imo

Graphics basically been copy and paste for the past 3 years so thats no surprise so hopefully gameplay and the feel and control of the game got an overhaul, but who knows when the next gen consoles are so close to being released but last gens 2k14 was great gameplay wise so hopefully these last couple installments gameplay is on point.

I agree.

When I say peaked for 2k, I say under their current graphics engine that this feels like the most they will commit to graphics.

Those two are EA games. Besides Live, EAs Frostbite engine has produced great graphics. 2ksports has had cartoonish graphixs for their games. Hopefully next gen, they go for realistic graphics
