Any tips for head movement?

Struggle when it comes to timing things. Any drills or advice?

Go play UFC 2 which has vastly superior head movement?

Spin the stick before the strikes come. It's easier to then move your head out the way when a shot comes.

Dodging from stationary on reaction is nigh impossible but dodging when already moving somehow makes reactive head movement possible.

Only downside is the stamina death.

This is if you wanna dodge like Anderson Silva, otherwise there are probably better ways like block a shot or two then head movement, or use footwork along with head movement.

Just a shame a counter from the Anderson esque head movement does zero damage because your stamina is all depleted once you've dodged a 4 punch combo :/

And it makes you a sitting duck too as you wait for your stamina to return.

If you don't counter within their first attack, your stamina will be toast and it's all defensive from what I've played.

And because of “empty sways” which unintentionally punishes effective head movement.
