Adjusting Height Like NCAA

Hey everyone,

Got back into gaming with a break from school and I tried something out. I remember going back and forth with a few talking about adjusting players height in NCAA to fit the field better. I did the same for Madden 19, and I must say, visually, I like how it looks and plays, so far. Don’t want to forget the placebo effect.

Just wanted to share this with everyone.

What did you adjust players height too? I do a similar thing with NBA2K for more court space but in 2k its easier because they have mass edit options.

This is my scale:

5’5-5’6 = 5’5
5’7-5’8= 5’6
5’9-5’10=5’7
5’11-6’=5’8
6’1-6’2=5’9
6’3-6’4=5’10
6’5-6’6=5’11
6’7+= 6’

(Original Heights) = (Adjusted Heights)

I don't think it's really needed after playing the beta, they seem to have the field scale versus players pretty spot on this year.

But might be helpful to anyone sticking with Madden 19.

Does the game play any different? Other than visually, are there any drawbacks or positives to adjusting the heights this way? Both in Madden and also NCAA

The biggest gameplay difference in both Madden/NCAA is it opens up the field to have more of a spread game. This year in particular, I felt the players were too big. Comparable to my gripes with NCAA.

* I also put game speed to very fast, and it got rid of a lot of the choppiness, IMO.

Per my post above, this year the players size versus the field is much better in Madden 20.

And on a side note, no more game speeds if you're not aware, all one speed this year. Thankfully the speed is pretty good IMO
