WHY IS IT 2019 AND YET MADDEN CANT ADD THE FEATURE OF EXTENDING FOR A 1ST DOWN OR TD .

YOU PLAY SO MANY GAMES WHERE THE RECEIVER CATCHES THE PASS ON 3RD AND 7 AND CATCHES THE BALL CLOSE TO THE MARKER AND JUST DIES OUT WITH NO ATTEMPT OF STRETCHING FOR THE FIRST DOWN ...... OR AT THE GOAL LINE CATCHING AT THE 1 YARD LINE AND NEVER EVEN TRYING TO CROSS THE PLAIN . ITS INSANE THEY COULD EASILY ADD THIS FEATURE TO THE GAME . IT IS SO NECESSARY COME ON EA ....WHY CANT WE ADD THIS ..... HAVE RISK VS FUMBLE REWARD ON THE STRETCHING OUT

The funny thing is, there actually is an animation for it. But for whatever reason they just very, very rarely trigger. I saw this animation two times in all of my time with Madden 19:

It is definitely something that bugs me. I couldn’t believe Backbreaker was able to do it but no one else has. But Madden has a hard time recognizing where the plain is, I’ve had TDs not called but the ball is clearly placed in a spot that breaks the plain the following down lol.

The player awareness is absolutely terrible. No situational awareness whatsoever

Asking for something that should already be in the game doesn't make him Ryan lol. There just needs to be some detection of when your getting tackled or about to go down, hit a button to begin the reach animation. The again that would also mean revamping the challenge system because you'd have issues of whether the knee was down before the reach, etc.

Had a great TD run by Damien Williams last night, and he totally reached out to hold the ball over the goal line.

I think it is interesting what you see when you aren't looking for something to complain about.

Cmon man, absolutely no need to be condescending. One other person said it triggered maybe twice playing it all last year and I have never seen it happen in Madden at all. I’d LOVE to see what it looks like. Because at least for me 10 out of 10 times, the ball carrier does not stretch out for the TD unlike every other ball carrier does irl. Don’t act like this is even a remotely common animation people just over look.

I’ve seen it happen but it’s very rare. Players need to either be more aware or we need a mechanic to trigger it ourselves.

Speaking of extending. I lost a game last night because I was just trying to dive into the end zone with no time left and had both triggers accidentally held down so I gave myself up at the 1 yard line instead of diving in. It gave me a good laugh lol

why have to worry about what animation you are going to get. this should be a button to press to to stretch . there is no reason . they have truck , stiff arm , dive , ect. make an extend for the plain . every player in the league does it . multiple times per game ...... why not add this in . seems liek they havent even thought about this at all . cmon ea devs take note
