Lamar Jackson: 13 Yards Rushing on Season

So I played a full 16 game schedule (user only as the Eagles) and the season ended with Lamar Jackson having 13 yards rushing on 4 attempts. No user games against the Ravens. It seems as though the current version, at least in the simulated games in my franchise, does not recognize running quarterbacks or even offensive schemes that feature quarterback running schemes. Not to mention the lack of scramble yards included. Carson Wentz (user controlled only), led the league in QB rushing yards and attempts with 45 for 317 yds. The second best rushing QB was Russell Wilson with 16 attempts for 61 yds. Cam Newton had 23 att for 60 yds. League quarterbacks combined for 24 rushing TDs.

For reference, in the real-life 2018 NFL, 16 QB's had more than 40 attempts rushing. 9 had more than 300 yards. QB's ran for 68 TDs.

I guess my main question/point is, has anyone else noticed this trend? And if so, lets hope EA comes out with a fix quick because it'd be disappointing for a stats-loving guy like me to grind through a franchise and see Jackson or Wilson or Newton have just random massive dropoffs in rushing production.

Seems to be a big issue the last few years now. Next year they need to focus alot of attention on the QBs and all aspects of it

Seems like an issue that should've been fixed a long time ago, but of course that's the narrative for many aspects of the gameplay. Let's hope they eventually realize the sim experience is just as important.

Given that Mahomes is the cover athlete, the emphasis on dual-threat with the addition of ROPs, and X-Factors, you would have thought that they would have finally fixed this legacy issue.

Seems like an issue that should've been fixed a long time ago, but of course that's the narrative for many aspects of the gameplay. Let's hope they eventually realize the sim experience is just as important.

Their sales have allegedly been through the roof. They can already look at this game as a success and move on to 2021 if they wanted. Consumers are doing this to themselves.

But yes, a fix is supposed to be in the works.

Well I suppose as one of those consumers I should blame myself for fueling the cycle of negligence for another year in a row. I will add that in-game, scrambling QB's have not been half bad but it's very disappointing to see such a gap between reality and the sim experience.

No, they confirmed they’re aware of the bug and they’re TRYING to find a fix. They acknowledged they’ve been trying to find a fix for two years now. I don’t see it happening

They acknowledged it is a problem when asked directly in an interview. What else could they say. It is a meaningless statement. Of course, i may have missed something. I don't use a scrambling qb but every team that does is at a disadvantage because their qb's strengths are not used. It is mystifying that this can go on. I guess they could fix it by adding more qb run plays being called by those teams so the sim stats would look ok but wouldn't really fix the problem

messing with the sim stat engine for the pc through frosty is a monster. I can get qbs to rush and have great stats, even just have the most mobile ones with great stats, but it messes with everything else. I know they have to have better tools and capabilities than what weve got, but I wouldn't count on anything happening if they don't.

Seems like every year we say... "maybe next year". All i want is a franchise game that is on par on all aspects (aside from visuals) as Madden 2005-2007 on the PS2!!! And as funny as that sounds, I am dead serious... which speaks volumes.
