Is this in any way comparable to Football Manager? Are there any games out there like Football Manager where you have college and NFL together?

Is there a NFL mod around for this game? Nobody plays this? Looked at Steam, no review yet.

For anyone who has played this, and is familiar with FOF, I'd love to hear a comparison. I only play as GM (I don't coach/play the games, I just sim them). I would be interested if the GM aspect of this game is better than FOF.

Same here. As a long time FOF player, I'd love to hear how they compare from an GM perspective.

Well last year's game drove me crazy. The free agency never really worked right and resigning your players was almost impossible. They said they finally fixed it by after months I gave up and never tried it again. Hopefully it's fixed for this year. Also you can add NFL mods as needed.

The review mentions "historical rosters". Do they come with the game? 1. Do they use real player names? 2. How far back do rosters go? If not, can they be built? I checked the games Mod forums and there seems to be a "Historical Mod" but I dont know if that is actual past seasons or just an app that lets you create past seasons? Are there any instructions on how you load in Mods, etc?

Then the review doenst really talk about if the engine produces realistic results and stats. Anyone?

I have played this and the college game in past years. Solid game no doubt, but the things I do not like are:

1- customization is cumbersome, you can manually edit team names etc... but getting the logos/field and player images is a bit of work.
2- the game is released every year without any major improvements, yet still charge full price.

I always stopped playing after a few weeks.
