Offline Gamers - Has the game changed since the start of Patchageddon?

I have yet to purchase this year's game due to 2K's history. At release, the gameplay is usually really good. After a few months of patches, it's completely different. And I'm not talking about adjusting to the game and learning how to play. Things that don't need to be patched would get patched and throw off the gameplay. However, I'm under the impression that this is not the case this year and the patches only impact online players. How do you guys feel? My FOMO is growing, but I'm hesitant to purchase because I would hate to know that offline gameplay is being affected by online gameplay change requests.

    The game? Not to me.

    My game? Improving.

Best 2k gameplay I've ever seen.

Everything on the basketball court is simply amazing aside from shooting irregularities.

I think the biggest issues going on are the constant bugs and broken modes

Yes. It changed a lot from day 1. The players now move very quick even the bigs/centers. Wish they didn’t touch the gameplay 😒
