    Super Play Action Football

Does anybody remember this game? This was the first college football game I ever played and was probably one of the best football games I have ever played. It was the spin off to NES Play Action Football. These two games are among my favorites of all time. I just remember the field being so big...the overhead camera angle...the game having over 100 college teams, high school teams and pro teams if i'm not mistaken. The game play speed was on slow. But, this was THE game for me. Anybody else remember this?

Loved this game as a kid. Used to play it with my dad a ton. To this day, over 25 years later, if he sees me playing a football video game, he will say "where's the pass interference?"

When we played I constantly drew PI calls on his defenders and he felt the game was cheating.

I have great memories of this game.

Yes remember this game well. Played many hours of both when they came out.

          YES YES YES!!!

I loved that game back in its day. Even if the colleges/bowl were fictional it was usually easy to figure out who was who (Holy Cross = Moldy Moss ) and I loved that you could set your own schedules.

High School mode was cool since you could customize to a certain extent.

I actually didn't do NFL mode very often, I was playing Tecmo Super Bowl instead for that fix.

To this day, my brother and I will occasionally refer to Vanderbilt as "Windy Belt" in tribute to this game.

I played this game a lot back in middle school when it came out. I mostly created High Schools from my era and did my own scheduling and bracketing.

I recently bought a SNES Classic/mini and was pretty bummed out this didn't make it. It would have been a better addition than f zero.

I played it a ton when I was a kid. The best thing about it was that you could run the option.

But...it was....the slowest...in-game running...everrrrrr. It would take your player literally over a minute on a long TD.

The non-licensed college names were great, though. Although I never figured out who "St of ND" was.
