Roster update today

Ea put out a roster update today. I’m a hawks fan and I seen krys and a couple others added. We’re getting there .

I hope they fixed the goalie covering post down low, am gonna see if its fixed in this roster, I went and talked to the EA dev about that, anyways getting newest roster update now!

goalie hugging blocker low bug is still there, just tested, I think they may need patch or something to fix that, at first it was working wasn't showing up, but it seems poked through and blocker low bug is still there. , roster update is failure.

I don't know how it works today but 2005-2009 I made cyberfaces etc for pc versions of EA's NHL games. Roster file didn't include gameplay updates, goalie gears, faces, rinks and so on... It contained mainly text data. For example every player had his own number and if you liked to add face for him you needed to find which was his number and then save your graphic file matching this number which was included in rosters... I guess gameplay updates and maybe patches contains those graphics and rinks and jerseys, animations and so on, a roster file only guides how the game will install those graphic add-ons to the game. So it's a bit weird you think a new roster will patch some gameplay issues. Maybe you didn't know how those things work... Of course a roster file included player attributes, and some more information too, but it was mainly a text file containing numbers.

Honestly asking the question here (not going for sarcasm)...but why is it that EA are forbidden to add those players to their game, but a game like FHM (also NHL licensed) isn't, from day 1 ?

Might be wrong, but I believe it’s because the current rosters for FHM aren’t made by FHM. They’re made by the community.

Hmmm...is it part of the install ? Cause I just installed the game, didn't download any community add-ons or anything, and all the players were there.

In any case, this just proves how much we need Roster Sharing.

What do you mean "post those rosters" ? You mean the file, or do you want to see some screenshots ?

Another roster update,Nov 13,why,what and who was added. Probably something for online play.Useless.
