Was running with custom rpo was playbook, ravens, and custom run heavy. Right now am really liking the saints.

I play with the Cowboys in CFM using the seahawks on offense(good variety of formations and fits Dak really well) and Cincinnati on defense

Always use the Eagles Defense. Excellent 4-3 Nickel packages, which are my staple. They also have the variety to go 4-3 base, 4-6, dime, or quarters. Never switch out of that one.


On offense I switch it up once or twice a season to keep it fresh and prevent myself from relying on certain plays too much. Been loving the Oakland playbook for running. Trying out some others right now trying to find a good offensive playbook that has a lot of I-Form & a ton of shotgun options.

I'm currently loving the generic Walsh WC offensive book. There's a nice diversity to the run schemes, including ample FB stuff, which I love, and the classic WC pass concepts abound.

The passing game is excellent for neutralizing a rush or compensating for a less-than-stellar OL.

I always play as the Chiefs:
Offense - West Coast Playbook
Defense - 3-4 Playbook

For those of you that run with a generic playbook you have to load it before every game correct? Even if you save it as your default playbooks in your profile it doesn’t automatically populate before your online franchises games?

Yes. It only let you select default team playbooks in the coaches schemes screen. You will have to select it on the advance settings screen on the team select screen.

I think once you set it from the advanced settings then you don't have to do it again going forward. Been that way with my custom playbook at least.

Offense - Run N Gun

I have Vick in MUT and Kyler in my Fantasy Draft franchise. Run N Gun offers a great mix of passing and read option, but unlike Spread I can still go under center with Singleback Doubles, Y-Trips, and Ace Slot. AI does a pretty decent job playing the QB on the option. Better than most users, TBQH. I usually get somewhere between 20-50 free yards in most H2H games just catching people off guard with the option. Some franchise games I can't run it at all.

Defense - Tampa Bay

I want 3-4 Odd, Nickel Normal, Big Nickel, Big Dime 2-3-6. With shrewd use of shifts you can turn these formations into almost any front you could need. This is one of a handful of books that have them all. NYG and NYJ also have them.

Custom Power Run Playbook with all power runs, iso, counter and tosses. Play action deep playbook with set audibles.

Defense custom 2 high scheme were I primarily run Cover 4,6,9.. depending.. and Dollar for 3rd Down

I was gonna post a new thread to ask, but since your custom PB has this base, I have 2 questions:

1) Which default book has the strongest power/iso/counter/toss run base?
2) Have you put your custom book online?

I like to switch it up. The best offensive minds in the game tend to keep some fluidity in their book.

Currently, I’m using four different offensive books in my franchise: generic spread, generic west coast (Walsh WCO book), AZ (Kingsbury air-raid), and OAK. I’m a fan of the spread, but I also like to “power up” at times. I’m also a huge fan of Kyle Shanahan’s zone scheme, and I’ve used that playbook regularly over the last several Maddens. I run a mutt offense.

On the defensive side, I’m currently running a 34. I’ve been switching back and forth between BAL and AZ. Typically, I’m more of a 43 guy, but I’ve been enjoying the 34 for the time being.
