New to 2k20, I could use help with the expansion draft
 

How can I get the expansion draft teams (6 2k made teams) to picks? What rule needs to be changed? I'm goofing around and thinking of doing a "blow the league" up, protect only 3 or 4 players expansion draft.

For my idea to work I need the expansion teams to pick 1-6. Thank you all for your help!

Hey,

I think your mixing up the expansion draft with maybe a fantasy draft?

Expansion draft is just the expansion teams drafting 1-6 in a serpentine order. (1,2,3,4,5,6,6,5,4,3,2,1) You can chose how many players are protected by teams in this draft.

Fantasy draft is every player in the league available, you CAN NOT protect players like in an expansion draft.


Hope this clears this up a bit, Im not sure which one your talking about.

There isn't a way to set the NBA Draft to make the expansion teams get the first 6 picks unless you control all the teams in the league and trade the draft picks at the end of the first season or whenever you are adding the 6 teams.

Unfortunately I think the expansion teams when added to a new dynasty get the 5th overall pick or whatever is past the lottery I think

Maybe in 20 you just cant.

You CAN give expansion teams the first picks.

Turn off the lottery and do it by team record.
My Seattle Spartans got the 2nd pick.
